Depending on whom you talk to Nafta Corridors, or Super Corridors are a
myth, or the Lord's honest truth. You are either a wing nut crazy to
believe in them, or a government bureau called the National Highway

Kay Barnes is well known to be a supporter of these corridors. Sam Graves,
however, is known to oppose the Texas toll road concept, in favor of heavy
rail, or at least that is the claim of the Owner Operators and Independent
Drivers Association. Funny but the dots connect directly to the support of
the Kansas City Southern Railroad for heavy rail corridors.
Many folks think the issue here is national soverignity. Or whether
creating a national infra structure supported by toll roads and owned by
foreign corporations is a good thing. I believe that they get tied up in
the details and miss the big picture.
The corridor highway/ railroad movement is really about a simple question
of theft. From all the facts that are knowable there is one common thread.
Corridor highways or railroads will be developed by the biggest land grab
since Cortez took Mexico at the point of a sword.
The supporters of these plans intend to grab millions of acres of land for
private companies using the power of eminent domain as redefined by the
Supreme Court in the Kehlo case. The present owners of the land will be
forced to sell for a mere fraction of the wealth that the corridor will
make their land worth. A government gun will be held to their heads and
they will be forced to make deals that "they can't refuse". It will be all
nice and legal no question about that. It will also be one of the most
rapacious actions the US Government has been involved in, and it won't be
directed against " red savages ", oh no. This little bit of chicanery is
going to strip hard working americans of their wealth to make the rich
richer and the merely wealthy peons.
What we need here is to get at the truth. What we know is that Kay Barnes
and Sam Graves are representing different factions among the future robber
barrons who are going to profit. It is clear that neither of them intends
for the voters to ever know the truth.
